It’s been a while, Seeker. I didn’t forget you, but I had a very good reason for not giving you any guidance recently: it was time for you to take action.
I know you’re the type to look at a situation from every angle possible, but it was getting to the point where you were collecting information rather than implementing it. There’s a difference between feeling prepared enough to take risks and stalling for time by obsessing over minutiae.
Pulling back on my part may have frustrated you, but you did start to move. I can give you all the guidance you want: suggesting a perspective, guessing what days of the week to do something, musing over what this person meant when they said something.
But after a point, it wasn’t helping. It was overloading you with information, and as a result, you seemed paralyzed.
I hoped you would move once you realized you had enough information to take some chances. Because I can’t predict every possible outcome, and I can’t guarantee success in everything you do. But you’ve been moving. You’ve had some setbacks and quite a few major revelations. What may have felt like The Tower erupting over the course of a particular week was, in hindsight, Judgment unfolding in your life.
You’ve grown, and that’s what I’ve wanted for you.
But in any phase of growth, you’re going to feel stuck—or get stuck for real. You’ve reached a plateau, and now you’re looking for a way down.
I think you’re still doing the work, but it’s happening in other ways.

How are you progressing in your attempt to change?

Four of Cups · Page of Swords · The Hermit
The Four of Cups illustrates that you’re lost, dissatisfied, or apathetic about the process. There may be a sense of “I know I need to change, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to do next.” The card can describe someone looking so intently at what isn’t working that they have difficulty recognizing what’s being offered to them—or appreciating the work they’ve already accomplished.
The Page of Swords brings a shift from simply feeling to thinking. You may be trying to understand what’s happening by gathering information, asking questions, examining your own assumptions, or looking for a new perspective. There’s curiosity here, but the Page of Swords also has a tendency to overthink. Understanding something intellectually isn’t necessarily the same thing as knowing how to change it, so you may be spending quite a bit of time in your head.
Then we come to The Hermit, which I think is encouraging. Rather than looking outward for someone else to tell him what to do, you’re beginning to turn inward. You’re more willing to sit with yourself and examine what you actually think and feel. The Hermit often represents isolation, but there’s a purpose in drawing away from the world: you’re developing your own inner authority.
These cards suggest that this part of your progress may not be visible yet. You seem to be moving from “I don’t know what to do” toward “I need to understand this”, and finally toward “I may already have some of the answers I’m looking for.” You’re recognizing when you’re falling into the loop over overthinking and over-analyzing, and trusting that the answers are there—they just haven’t emerged yet.
That’s meaningful change, even if it doesn’t yet look like dramatic action from the outside.
What’s the important thing you need to know about your situation?

Strength · The World · Six of Pentacles
You need to understand that you do possess the strength to continue. Strength isn’t necessarily about forcing your way through a situation. It can be a quieter kind of strength: patience, self-control, courage, and the willingness to keep working with something even when the process is uncomfortable.
The World suggests that something is reaching the end of a cycle. A chapter is closing, or will come to a close, and you may be entering a different phase of life as a result. I don’t always read The World as an enormous, life-altering transformation. Sometimes a cycle simply reaches a natural conclusion and makes room for whatever comes next.
The Six of Pentacles then brings the focus to giving and receiving. You may need to reconsider the balance between what you give to others and what you allow to receive in return. Support isn’t always a one-way road. There’s value in being able to offer something to another person, but there’s also value in accepting help, attention, generosity, or understanding when it’s offered.
You don’t have to carry this situation entirely by yourself. You have the strength to keep going, you’re moving toward the end of a particular chapter, and part of what comes next may involve learning what mutual exchange looks like.
Finally, strength doesn’t always mean standing alone. Sometimes it means knowing when to reach out, and being willing to let someone meet you halfway
What will give you the push needed to get over this hump?

Four of Pentacles · Five of Cups · Judgment
The Four of Pentacles suggests that, at least for the moment, you need to hold onto your resources, and that includes your privacy. You don’t necessarily need to explain yourself to everyone or make every part of your process available for public scrutiny. There may be good reason to be selective about who gets access to what you’re thinking, planning, or changing.
This feels particularly significant alongside The World from the previous spread. If you’re genuinely bringing one chapter to a close, other people may not immediately understand or approve of what you’re doing. You could encounter questions, resistance, or even others trying to convince you that you’re wrong every step of the way. The Four of Pentacles reminds you that you’re allowed to protect yourself during the process.
The Five of Cups, however, asks you not to protect yourself from your own feelings. I won’t be soft here: there will be grief involved. Things you’ve lost, things or people you had to leave behind, opportunities that passed you by, or decisions you wish you’d made sooner.
Regret can be part of recognizing what something cost you. In fact, that may be what leads to Judgment. This is the card that makes me think you’ll eventually understand something in a way that changes what you’re willing to do next. It could be a revelation about where you want to go, what you want to pursue, or which people you want around.
Judgment isn’t simply about making a decision; it can be the moment when the pieces finally come together and you start to accept a new reality rather than fight it along the way.

This also feels like a time for your nervous system to catch up to all the changes that have been taking place. Sometimes when changes happen one after another, we instinctively reach back for the familiar. We can end up undoing precious work, or delaying the milestone we were already on our way to meeting.
Here, you’re being reminded that even if it doesn’t feel like it, you are making much-needed progress. You’ve climbed what you thought was a mountain, only to discover that you’ve reached a plateau.
Take this time to wander the ground. You’re probably being offered a few chances, gifts, or insights that you’ll need for the next leg of the journey.
Just remember that you have a right to protect yourself, to mourn what you’ve lost, and to acknowledge what is taking longer to achieve than you’d hoped. And deeper revelations may arrive sooner than you think.
Before you know it, a trail will open up to take you on your way.
