Backyard Journal: Rabbits

Panel 1: A lone rabbit sits in a field of grass and grey ink washes. The dialog box says: We have more rabbits this year. Four adults and two juveniles. - Panel 2: A rabbit runs headlong towards the viewer with minimal speed lines marking its action. A shadowy figure stands in the background. The dialog box reads: They always take off running no matter how far away I am. - Panel 3: A rabbit sits in profile, hunching down in the grass and looking very cross. A cloud of PET PET PET action words hang above its head as a human hand mercilessly gives its nogging a good petting. The dialog box reads: Probably because they know this will happen.

These furry loaves are lucky I can’t run that fast anymore, because I would give them such a loving on their little bunny heads, yes, I would, and I’ll give their little feetsies all the kisses they can handle, yes, my little long-eared darlings *further devolves into nauseating cutesy speak*
