One of the few joys I get from living in a rural area is coming across wildlife. Finding tree frogs in the smallest of spaces in the backyard is probably my best recent memory. A couple of times, I even managed to put a finger inside and gently pat their squishy little heads. I’m sure they didn’t appreciate it, but how often will I get to touch a frog?
Besides my repeated efforts to rescue the one that keeps climbing into the trash can, I mean.
