It’s still early in the new year but I’m feeling something different about 2026. A cleansing, a disappearing, a vanishing of something that’s been hanging around my psychic space like an albatross for the past two-ish years.
But it’s gone, or at the very least, rapidly fading.
This may sound like a big mystery for you, Reader, but in time—maybe even over a great stretch of time—I’ll explain what happened. There are others involved with the situation, and I have to consider their privacy and accounts. But right now, I’m enjoying the sense of freedom I have again. I’m enjoying a return of energy into my life, the ability to fully dedicate myself to the projects and people I truly love.
And that includes a little project that was set aside due to the aforementioned albatross. A small project that shouldn’t have riled up or offended anyone… and yet it did, simply because it focused on a particular creator and his work.
In fact, I think reposting what I’d already finished should be the first thing I do. And after that, I’m going to savor the work and research instead of trying to rush a new installment every other month.
But with the albatross gone, I can finally return to this.
And make a proper logo.
