It’s day two of this work for you, Seeker. Things might seem confusing this time around, but I think it’s because I’m trying to uncover what’s still being formed. When events are still in progress, and so many choices can still be made, that’s when readings feel more ambiguous than clear. I still carried out what I said I would, because any information or clues can help you at this stage.
I did things a little differently here. The cards can only reveal or suggest so much, so I needed to bring in something that might help point where I need to focus.

A pendulum for dowsing.
Full disclosure: tarot cards, runes, and dice seem to work independently of my feelings, but dowsing is different. Because I’m holding the pendulum by a thin chain, my heartbeat, breath, and minute muscle spasms can affect the swing of the tool. Therefore, I typically don’t use this unless I’m in a calm state of mind or can detach myself emotionally from the topic I’m exploring.
A pendulum can help discover where your interest lies. I wrote a few of your known endeavors in a circle and had the pendulum swing in the order of most important/interested to least.
These were the results:
- Music
- Games
- Travel
- Other
- Food
In cases where I feel like I have gaps in my knowledge, I’ll put down an Other category, then I’ll do a tarot spread.
For the Other in your list of interests, this is what turned up: Nine of Swords, The Hermit, Queen of Wands.

(Since I didn’t take a photo of the cards I pulled, I’m illustrating them with a digital deck.)
This really stood out. You’d think that, just by the imagery alone, this interest made no sense. Dread, worry, overthinking; isolation, turning inward, innate knowledge; boldness, vivaciousness, an outgoing personality.
But it does make sense. Here I see an interest in confronting fears or trauma, seeking wisdom or advice, and transformation into a more courageous version of oneself. This, to me, speaks of mental health or wellness—either for yourself or others.
But we’ll get to that in a bit.

Now, I’ve been doing all upright cards so far, but at this stage, I included reversals to get deeper insights into the possible careers or paths you might want to explore.
For the Music category, I pulled these cards:
Page of Swords and Queen of Pentacles
King of Pentacles and Wheel of Fortune reversed
Knight of Swords and Four of Swords reversed
This is where I had to pause.
Not because I was stuck, but because this felt like the wrong discovery method for this part. As I said, tarot can only suggest or reveal so much, and it’s up to interpreters to bring in context. Tarot is more about the soul of a situation, but not exactly the shape of it.
What I needed at this point were concrete representations of what Music offered. What you can do in the field or with your musical interests and talents.
I know you’re a performing musician, songwriter, and mixing engineer. But there could be other avenues where you can use your talents and skills, or even research as you get more out of your comfort zone.
I wrote a list of options. This is by no means exhaustive or prescriptive; I have a limited knowledge of music and the field, so this list might appear paltry to you. There may even be options that absolutely do not appeal to you, but there may be adjacent niches or pursuits related to them. Again, this is where your curiosity comes into play.
- Sound design for games
- Music therapy
- Music journalism/critique
- Composing for games or streams
- Producing for other artists (could be lucrative; people pay big to have their dreams come to life, but I’m picking up that you wouldn’t take them for a ride)
- Teaching (don’t sell yourself short; the way you learned music could be a more accessible option for others)
- Music videos (sleep aids, guided meditation, etc. If you don’t think you could make a serious video in this genre, you can always do a piss take.)
- Recreating music (maybe in your own style, with different instruments, in different tempos, etc.)
- History/exploration (making videos about the history you’re interested in, from performers, events, parts of your own life… the options are endless)
Now the cards make sense.

Page of Swords and Queen of Pentacles show curiosity blending with nurturing practicality. Your interest in music probably runs deeper than you realize, and your reach (as limited as you believe it to be) could open doors you never thought possible. Music is where you’d probably find yourself an eternal student, happily indulging in your passion while contributing to the field in some way. In fact, your discipline would be on full fire here; whether you’re mixing tracks for another artist or studying a decade of music history for a video, you would treat it like it was your best work.
King of Pentacles and Wheel of Fortune reversed shows a bit of a stumbling block. You could build something lasting, but the Wheel isn’t turning in your favor… yet. The timing could be off, there could be resistance (internal or external), perhaps a little more planning is needed.
Finally, Knight of Swords and Four of Swords reversed shows that charging into a decision too soon could lead to burnout and exhaustion. While the Music category is where you want to thrive, you still have some work to do where you currently are. As I found yesterday, you’re still dealing with a lot of doubt and resistance. It’s completely natural to be concerned about changes in general, especially when financial stability might falter.
What you need isn’t so much an abrupt change, but a gradual transition into your new career. Once again, curiosity is your best friend. If it’s finances and support you’re worried about, take others along for the journey. The ones who are just as excited to see you transform into the new you will follow and celebrate, and the others will fall away like shedding skin.

Let’s explore the games category now. I feel this is an emotional part with a deep inner world, because this is where you’ve lived for so long.
As a reader, it feels like things might be coming together slowly. Even though Other from our master list was #4 in importance, it might work its way into whatever you’re forming.
For the games category, let’s get a feel for possible careers or paths the you might explore.

Ace of Swords and Three of Swords shows truth born from pain. Clarity is breaking through. You’ve been hurt by collaborators, the platforms you depend on, fans, and maybe even your own choices. But this sphere has also provided a home. Games have served as therapy, rest, and building community. And it wasn’t just you who went through pain. The members of your community did as well, and you helped them. Giving them some time to be distracted, showing them that struggle is a universal experience, and offering a space where they weren’t alone.
Ten of Cups and King of Wands reversed is the most important combination in this row. Ten of Cups is harmony, legacy, emotional fulfillment, and family, chosen or not. Where you are should be a space where people are safe… but sometimes it isn’t. You’ve experienced that yourself. The reversed King of Wands shows a leader who’s burned out, disconnected, or lost their fire. Either you feel like you’ve lost your passion in this field… or you’re starting to notice others who should be guiding with integrity and responsible passion.
The Sun reversed and Knight of Wands reversed shows dimmed vitality, loss of childlike wonder, and lack of success and joy. The reversed Knight of Wands is stalled energy, impulse without direction. You might feel restless and eager to act, but unsure of the direction.
More and more, it feels like you’re either seeking or being called to do healing—not just for yourself, but for others. I’m not picking up on any concrete profession… but you’re being asked to share experiences and wisdom gained from music and gaming. Your experiences with pain, healing, and safety may be a factor in what you’re going to do in the next phase.
If I may pose a few questions to ask yourself: What if you’re not supposed to leave? What if you’re supposed to transform what you already have? What if you’re supposed to take on a role?
I said yesterday that you have the option of leaving your field altogether or changing it. You’ve seen the damage that can be done in the spaces you occupy. You’ve been privy to others’ pain. You know your field needs a change. What if you’re the one who’s going to bring it?
The Travel category feels so out of place now that I’ve gone through other categories. But it showed up as the third most important thing on the list, so I’ll explore it.
Let’s briefly gain insights on possible careers or paths you might explore with Travel… or what is you’re being asked to do with travel.

With Music firmly in the lead, I’d say that perhaps you’ll find yourself traveling more. Tours, festivals, perhaps even opportunities to expand or study your craft. The cards here seem to also describe what you might gain from traveling… or if you’re being asked to do another type of traveling.
Four of Wands reversed and The Empress shows a home that no longer feels like a home, but there’s still the potential for community. Something needs to be nurtured and reimagined to bring vitality back.
Eight of Wands and Three of Cups shows movement and connection. Things are becoming a little clearer. This isn’t solitary travel. It’s communal. This could mean traveling with others. It could mean bringing people together.
Five of Cups reversed and Six of Cups reversed shows a tender side to all this. You wouldn’t be clinging to loss or romanticizing the past. You’re releasing it. Looking back at what didn’t work and what didn’t last. This could be the part where you free yourself from what’s been keeping you in place.
If this section feels sparse, it’s probably because there’s more to be revealed. Travel still feels new in your life.
Sometimes tarot can only give the barest suggestions, hinting to what’s in store. (Frustrating, I know. Trust me, as someone who’s done readings for herself, it’s teeth-grindingly awful when I feel like I’m being denied help when I need it the most.)
But here’s something more to consider: Music can take people to other places. Traveling in this sense could be emotional or spiritual.

I feel like I need to do a fresh shuffle with this next step, because it feels as though the next question needs all the cards “reset”.
How can you combine these—Music, Games, Travel, and Other—to modify/change your career?

The High Priestess and Knight of Pentacles… the Priestess is inner knowing. The Knight is steady, methodical action and practicality. This may not be a question I can answer… because deep down, you already know what it is.
The change you’re seeking is already happening. You just don’t see it.
Big changes don’t have to be explosive or dramatic. Sometimes it’s quiet, subtle alchemy that reshapes our inner world until we start acting differently in the outer world. You’ve taken small steps, but transformation is taking place.
Now The Empress and Queen of Cups. Divine feminine squared. The Empress reveals that you’re in a creating phase, nurturing ideas into being. And the Queen of Cups feels the heart of the community. While making the changes you want, you’re still tending to the community you already have… because these changes will not only support you, but your supporters in turn.
Five of Pentacles and The Emperor. Lack and authority. There’s some tension here. Five of Pentacles speaks to feeling excluded, unseen, and abandoned. The Emperor is about control and foundation. Together, this is recognizing struggle and stepping in as a guide to solve the issue.
What I find interesting is that both The Empress and The Emperor showed up, but in different spaces. One as the main card, the other as a clarifier. I’ve always viewed them as a power couple. Both are powerful in their own right. Here, The Empress is leading in creating and nurturing, her purpose of connection clarified by the Queen of Cups. The Emperor sees the unfortunate souls in the Five of Pentacles and is quietly guiding what needs to be repaired or healed. He’s letting her take charge while a new framework is created, putting full trust in her abilities.

If this all sounds complicated, it only does right now. That’s because things are still in the very early stages of your progress. Not only that, but I think you have to feel what’s happening underneath. You need to allow the spark of realization to form. Give that all-important “click” time to manifest. Then you’ll have your “a-ha” moment when everything makes sense.
But I will say this in regards to everything I’ve seen so far: I don’t see one clear career here. I don’t necessarily see one career replacing another. You’ve always had many irons in the fire, and I don’t think a single job title is going to satisfy you.
I think you’re being asked to expand what you already have. As things start to take form, music may very take more of your focus. Games will always be a part of your life, but they could take on another, maybe deeper meaning.
Regardless of the “order of importance” of your interests, both music and games are a part of you, not just your career or identity. Travel could become a bigger part of what you do. And the thread I see woven through all this is the Other… healing. I think that’s the biggest change to take place.
But these are my interpretations. You are the “hub” where it’s all happening. As you take more actions and grow into your next version, you’ll realize what exactly is unfolding in the real world. And it could make much more sense to you than it does for me.

It’s a lot to take in, Seeker. I still hope that I’ve helped you in some way. This feels like one of those readings that won’t make total sense until some time has passed. Time here could mean a few days. It could mean a year. But the way things are moving for you, it could be sooner than you expect.
